DJ Mace, vorig jaar pleitbezorger van experimentele hiphop à la Ninja Tunes en Mo’Wax van onder de rivieren, heeft samen met dj Optimus eind april het indielabel Fremdtunes leven ingeblazen. Nu schieten kleine labels als paddenstoelen uit de grond, maar de eerste labelverzamelaar Fremdvibes helpt in ieder geval enorm om boven het maaiveld uit te komen.

De ep bevat uit eigen werk van Fremdtunes-producers Says Who? en dj Vindictiv, en neemt je bijna een half uur mee naar rustieke geluidsoorden vol jazz, hiphop en triphop. Muzikale ondersteuning wordt gegeven door de Britse trompettist Vicky Flint en de Nederlandse gitarist Shycop. Bedenk er een balkon, avondzon en een goede espresso bij, en levensgeluk is binnen handbereik.
